Technician Apprentice – Diploma Posts

Trade Apprentice – ITI Posts

For Trade Apprentice posts, candidates must have Matriculation/Class 10th along with a relevant 2-year regular full-time ITI course recognised by NCVT/SCVT.

• Instrument Mechanic
• Machinist

Graduate Apprentice

For the Graduate Apprentice discipline, candidates should have a regular full-time Bachelor's degree in disciplines such as:

• BBA
• BA
• B.Com
• B.Sc.

Candidates generally require 50% aggregate marks for General/EWS/OBC-NCL candidates and 45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates for reserved posts.

Data Entry Operator Apprentice

For the Data Entry Operator Fresher position, candidates should have passed Class 12th and should not be graduates.

The age limit will be calculated as on 31 August 2026.

IOCL Apprentice Selection Process 2026

The selection process is merit-based. There is no written examination and no interview.

 

The selection process generally includes:

1.         Registration and online application through NAPS/NATS.

2.         Preparation of a merit list based on marks obtained in the prescribed qualifying       examination.

3.         Shortlisting of candidates for document verification.\

4.         Pre-engagement medical fitness examination.

5.         Issue of the apprenticeship engagement offer to candidates who satisfy the required conditions.
